36 Delicious St. Patrick's Day Foods for Celebrating in 2025

Make your day a little luckier with these Irish dishes!

By

It's officially time for St Patrick's Day! We're celebrating with delicious recipes, fun traditions, and DIY crafts. When March 17 arrives, you can wear something green, pour your favorite Irish whiskey (or Irish cream), and put on a good Irish movie. But you haven't really celebrated until you've watched a festive parade and sat down to a hearty Irish meal of St. Patrick's Day food.

St. Patrick's Day is all about celebrating Irish culture. We've rounded up our best Irish recipes, along with recipes we've developed over the years that come pretty close. Guinness stew is an absolute must! Or maybe you'd like something more traditional, such as colcannon, corned beef and cabbage, or Irish soda bread. We've even got a soda bread recipe baked in the shape of a four leaf clover!

Whatever you make, you can be sure it'll be hearty and comforting. Irish cuisine is the perfect food for those blustery spring days. And don't forget a foamy glass of green beer (an American, not Irish, tradition mind you).

Whether you’re cooking for your family or feeding a crowd, these recipes will send you straight to the Emerald Isles. And don’t forget to make one of these St. Patrick’s Day Desserts to cap things off.
